Mika and Mola - VENT pinup

IM SO EXCITED!!!!

When brought up the concept of Vent vol. 1 I thought wow what a great idea!!!!... A place for present and former artists to "vent" their creative juices all over the pages of one just one book!! Tutorials,comic pages,pin ups and galleries from this amazingly talented group of artists!! I was honestly honoured to be a part of it. Not only for the opportunity it gave me but because of my respect for the company who gave me my first professional gigs in the comic world. For that I will always be grateful....

These are two characters in my loosely formed personal story time universe, Mika&Mola. As it is I am really enjoying the no stress approach to creating the characters, their history and their place in the whole world. A sketch here a twist there, Im finding it is a very organic way of pouring my brain out onto the page.

The basis of the story is that of a lost boy (Mika) who befriends all sorts of people and creatures during his travels across the snowy wind blasted plains of his "homeland"

Now that it has been announced I will be posting additions to the Mika&Mola universe as I make em, and hopefully you too will enjoy the story as it unfolds with me
